Copper Amorphous core transformers have been designed to provide a 70 to 80% reduction in no-load losses and are considered finer than the transformers which utilize CRGO core material. These must be utilized for an improved harmonic wave tolerances. In addition, it has a lower total cost of ownership. This is a special type of energy efficient transformer, which are found in the electric grids. The magnetic core of Copper Amorphous core transformers has been made with a ferromagnetic amorphous material.
